How to play:

1. Click a square to select it to travel. Only light squares are accessible.

2. Click the 'Move' button in the top left and watch you go to the next space.

3. Select if you want to bring the hitchhiker along.

4. Repeat until you get to the end!

HINT: They're always carrying one more item than they show. Can you figure out how dangerous it could be?

This is a REALLY early concept of a rogue-lite game where you pick up hitchhikers on your way to a goal. 

For Brackeye's Game Jam 2025.1 I was only able to put in the key features with my limited time but wanted to submit something anyway. In the future I want to add health/gas/money, random events at cities, and much more! I love the color palette but unsure if it fits the theme of this game, open to suggestions. *All city and character names are randomly generated from a limited list.
